When we first met the owners they had this cottage listed for sale but it was not selling. This was, in part because it had a steep outdoor staircase and that staircase needed to be replaced. The owners opted for having us build this lift that runs about eight stories from the cottage to the water.
The existing staircase was scary and on it’s last legs.
The slope consists mostly of large rocks, which made securing the legs a challenge. Again, our unique leg design actually works to stabilize the slope.
The dock is an easy step off the car.
