Model: 1-Person Combo
Track: 70' at 30°
Area: Bella Lake, Huntsville
Year: 2008
Designed to carry cargo and/or one person, this lift runs from a parking area to the wrap-around cottage deck, a vertical rise of about 35 feet.
What the owner said:
“It’s really made it much easier for us. It means I can go to the cottage.”
“You have to look into the future, it’s okay when you’re 45 to carry things, but as you get older and your knees and your hips go, it means you can use the cottage longer.”
“I often go (to the cottage) by myself. Now I know I am going to be able to manage alone.”

The owners carpenter, Robbie Patterson of Better Building (705 635 1428), did a great job building the upper station platform to incorporate the trees and access the car.
Looking up the lift from the cottage porch, even though this is one of our smaller lifts, it still makes the difference between the owner using or not using the cottage.
We built the track so the car floor would line up perfectly with the right-hand edge and the near-end of the wrap-around deck, an ideal spot to load and unload people things.
The only modification required on the deck was the removal of one section of railing and the installation of a button box post.
This was one of our first lifts to use a PLC based Lift Control System, which provides a level of capability, flexibility and security that a hard-wired relay-based system cannot offer.
