Our Story
A physicist set out to solve the hill.
Inclined Elevation was founded more than 20 years ago by John Weinstein, a PhD in physics who applied his mathematical and engineering acumen to the underserved market of personal incline transport. More than 150 lifts later, Inclined Elevation is the #1 provider of hillside elevation in Canada’s cottage country.
We make accessing difficult locations easier and safer. Our innovative designs feature advanced technology such as three-phase motors, VFDs, and PLC controllers that ensure smooth, reliable rides. We are the only builders of two-pitch and three-pitch lifts for complicated terrain. Nothing is standard issue. Each project is tailored to our clients’ unique needs and landscape.
